Our downtown has seen a large shift over the years, from boarded up and vacant buildings to thriving businesses and packed restaurants. More and more people are coming out to enjoy want our area offers, and more often then not, as soon as location becomes available, someone is ready to start and new business in the vacant space. Recently our City purchased a home that was owned by our hospital. Annaburg Manor, built 1894, will need a tremendous amount of restoration in order for it to be open to the public to enjoy. But in the process of raising funds for the building itself, the grounds need clean-up and work. If we were to win the contest, we would use these funds to help clean-up and enhance the green space for the public to enjoy.
